Michigan judges to use ‘preferred pronouns’ in court

A recent ruling has made Michigan the only state in the union to mandate that judges address attorneys, plaintiffs, and defendants in court by their “preferred pronouns.” Reuters reported last week that the Michigan Supreme Court voted 5-2 to approve the change. The new rule will go into effect in 2024.  READ
