The Department of Justice has faced criticism for its repeated and heavy-handed prosecution of pro-life activists and volunteers. But Tim Carney of the Washington Examiner points out that the FBI’s “recent flurry of activity against pro-life activists follows a little-noticed action by the Justice Department in July, creating a task force to defend abortion.” Few have acknowledged it, but the formation of the “Reproductive Rights Task Force” could be seen as an open admission by the Biden administration that its intent is not simply to enforce the law, but to quash the pro-life movement.
