As Legal Counsel to many churches, we began to receive endless questions about government orders to shut down, wondering if they should stay closed, move outside, or reopen while practicing social distancing. We will bring you up to speed on the cases we are working on to keep you informed and vigilant for any battles coming your way.

Attacks on our religious freedom are coming from many different angles and the pandemic brought battles that nobody expected. Stay informed and join us for the second edition of Ministry Under Fire.

MINISTRY UNDER FIRE

Ministry Under Fire is a conference we held at Gateway Seminary in February earlier this year (before COVID-19 shutdowns) created to help Pastors & Church Leaders understand the cultural challenges that face ministries today and in the future. Ultimately, striving to helping pastors navigate a turbulent culture and legal system seeking to reduce and prevent the gospel message. Well little did we know we'd be dealing with major threats to our freedom to practice religion a month later.

The Importance of Religious Liberty in a Healthy Society

Gateway Seminary President Jeff Iorg and Professor Glenn Prescott discuss how religious liberty contributes to societal health, our freedom to proclaim the gospel, the polarization in our culture, and the Christian church’s role in current political and cultural issues. Join us during our YouTube live event, Ministry Under Fire, on September 9, 2020 at 9AM (PST) to learn more about current cases affecting the cultural challenges ministries face today.

Mr. Tyler of Advocates for Faith and Freedom has been a frequent guest on our radio program, Faith On Trial. In fact he is scheduled to join us on our program Thursday September 17. That program will air live at 10 a.m. (CDT) on Iowa Catholic Radio, 1150 AM; 88.5 & 94.5 FM and it will stream on IowaCatholicRadio.com. It will also be on our free app.
